Job summary

Prisma Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide clinical direction for patient care in an outpatient setting at the Patewood Outpt Ctr/Med Offices, GI Diagnostic Lab-POC. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation with a focus on safety, documentation and quality improvement.

The RN provides direct care per plan, collaborates with physicians and care teams, and updates the plan as patient conditions change.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year as RN.
• Licensure: current RN license recognized by state.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in outpatient setting.
• Provides direct care to assigned patients per established nursing plan.
• Develops and updates the plan of care with patient/family and healthcare team; communicates changes.
• Evaluates nursing plan of care and revises as needed based on patient data.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
