Qualifications

• Basic requirements for GS-5/7/9 include nursing degree and/or experience.
• Outpatient nursing duties, triage, patient assessment and documentation are expected.
• Licensure as a professional nurse is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in ambulatory settings.
• Oversee licensed vocational nurses and nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Contribute to care coordination, health promotion and quality improvement.
