Job summary

Indian Health Service is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care in an ambulatory clinic. The RN will supervise LVNs and CNAs, coordinate care with the team, and actively participate in health promotion and education initiatives.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, documenting in the EHR, and contributing to quality improvement efforts while rotating shifts across days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, active, full nursing license in the United States.
• Experience in outpatient clinics and ambulatory care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence‑based, patient‑centered nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Oversee and mentor licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Contribute to care coordination, health promotion, education, and quality improvement.
