Job summary

Curative is seeking a Rheumatology physician in Richmond, VA to join a physician-owned, multi-specialty group with a built-in patient panel and a succession plan. The role is 100% outpatient with an on-site infusion center, 4–4.5 clinic days per week, and call that is phone-only (1:6).

Compensation includes a base salary guarantee of $280,000 for 12–18 months, a sign-on bonus, relocation allowance up to $10,000, and a comprehensive benefits package including malpractice coverage, PTO/CME, CME

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Rheumatology board eligibility/certification.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Rheumatology.
• Open to new grads.

Responsibilities

• Manage 22–24 outpatient visits per day in a 100% outpatient clinic.
• Supervise on-site infusion center and MSK procedures.
• No inpatient responsibilities or consult rounding; phone-only call 1:6.

Rheumatology Opportunity in Richmond, VA

You'll step into an established outpatient Rheumatology practice with a clear succession plan and a built-in patient panel to grow into. This is a physician-owned, multi-specialty environment with long-tenured colleagues and strong internal referrals. Practice Overview

• You'll join a physician-owned multi-specialty group with 5 Rheumatologists and 1 Adult Internal Medicine physician, all in a single Richmond clinic location
• Succession/expansion need: work alongside a senior physician and gradually assume an established patient panel
• Full-scope Rheumatology with major volumes in RA, PsA, osteoarthritis/osteoporosis, plus systemic autoimmune/connective tissue disorders
• In-office procedures/diagnostics: joint aspirations/injections (small & large joint), MSK ultrasound, and DXA interpretation; on-site 12-chair infusion center with daily order sign-offs and reaction coverage support

Schedule

• 4 to 4.5 clinic days per week; no dedicated administrative days
• 100% outpatient clinic with on-site infusion center supervision; no inpatient responsibilities or consult rounding
• Typical volume: 22-24 patients/day (initially fewer as you ramp with more new patients)
• Call is 1:6, phone-only

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary guarantee: $280,000 for 12-18 months. Earnings in the (90th %)
• Sign-on bonus: Available
• Relocation allowance: up to $10,000 (based on receipts)
