Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support patient care in the Outpatient Comprehensive Wound Center. You will perform routine tasks under clinician supervision and assist with mobility, positioning, and handling of patients, while helping maintain a safe, clean treatment area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification within six months, and completion of the rehab tech program within three months.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
Must complete rehabilitation technician training program within 3 months of hire.
1–3 years of healthcare experience preferred; rehab experience preferred.
Familiarity with patient lifting and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform routine patient care tasks under direct supervision of clinicians.
Assist clinicians to safely move and position patients.
Maintain and clean treatment areas and equipment; participate in safety and infection control programs.
Assist with scheduling, customer service, and clerical duties as needed.
Transport medications to/from patient treatment rooms as required.
