Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains treatment areas and orders supplies/pharmaceuticals as directed by the therapist.
• Mentors new staff in the assigned area.
• Monitors and assists in patient-care per therapist instructions and competencies.
• Assists with general office and front desk procedures.
• Transports patients to and from department or room via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Adapts communication and explanations to the patient’s needs and privacy considerations.
• Performs other related duties as required.
