Zusammenfassung

Benewah Community Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an outpatient rehab role in a rural hospital setting.

We offer full-time or part-time schedules with 5x8-hour days or 4x10-hour days, plus occasional weekend duties. Generous PTO (21 days first year, 40 days after 20 years), low-cost medical, and employee vision and dental. A 457 plan is matched. Mentorship and more available.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program and eligible for Idaho licensure.

Aufgaben

• Assist therapists in delivering individually designed programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function.
• Administer manual exercises, massage, or traction to relieve pain and enhance strength.
• Instruct patients and families on home treatment procedures.
• Record prognosis, treatment and progress in patient charts.
• Direct group rehabilitation activities.
