Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital's Rehabilitation Services Department seeks a Rehabilitation Services Aide to support outpatient therapy and Summit Therapy locations. You will greet patients, help transition them to sessions, and ensure a clean, safe environment under the PT's direction.

You may assist therapists and front desk tasks as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and adherence to safety standards in a dynamic multidisciplinary setting, with a consistent Mon-Fri 1:30pm–5:30pm

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required to read and interpret treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist them in transitioning from the waiting room to their physical therapy appointment.
• Ensure the patient is comfortably prepared to begin the session as directed by the PT.
• Maintain a clean environment for patient care at all times and assist other therapists.
• Support staff therapists as well as office staff throughout the day to ensure excellent patient care.
• Monitor the patient schedule and assist with transitions to therapy sessions in a timely manner.
• Occasionally assist front desk staff with checking patients in.
• Maintain logbooks with information pertaining to cleaning and safety.
• Attend staff meetings as needed and be an integral part of the Summit Therapy team.
• Create a safe work environment by identifying safety concerns and communicating with supervisors.
