Inova Internal Medicine - Fair Oaks is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated team. This full-time, day-shift role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm in Fair Oaks, VA.

The department emphasizes safety, quality, patient experience and career development within a nationally recognized health system. Qualified candidates will hold a BSN (or commit to BSN within 5 years if ADN), an RN license in Virginia, BLS certification, and 0 years RN experience (or 1–2 years

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties to clinic or non-acute operations: Full Intakes; Reconciliation of Meds; Care Coordination; Patient Triage.
• Provides safe/therapeutic care in a physician practice or outpatient setting with patient and family education.
• Uses data to improve care and guide practice and mentorship.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on knowledge from education and experience.

Inova Internal Medicine - Fair Oaks is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

• Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include:

• Provides safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting. Incorporates differences into the provision of care while integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families to include patient and family education. Achieves desired patient outcomes by using an integrated approach.
• Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor.
• Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care. Determines immediate priorities and offers solutions for problems. Works with the team to achieve maximum productivity.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on knowledge drawn from education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting
