Join Our Team as an Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN at RemoteWorker US

We are hiring for the Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN position at RemoteWorker US. This role offers an entry-level opportunity into our Clinical Advancement Program (CAP), focusing on providing comprehensive care for patients with End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD).

Purpose and Scope

The Outpatient RN CAP 1 is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, including delegation to care staff. As part of the ESKD healthcare team, you will participate in decision-making, education, leadership, and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform clinical functions under supervision, with guidance from educators and colleagues.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis treatments, document findings, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care needs.
• Administer medications per prescriptions and protocols, and respond to emergencies.
• Participate in staff training, ensure proper laboratory procedures, and update patient care plans collaboratively.
• Complete CAP requirements for career advancement and perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

This role involves physical activities such as lifting, moving patients, and standing for long periods. The environment is a healthcare setting with exposure to infectious materials, requiring adherence to safety protocols.

Supervision and Experience Requirements

• Supervised oversight of care staff after meeting training and experience prerequisites.
• Minimum of 9 months RN experience, with at least 3 months in dialysis.

Education and Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• Valid state nursing license.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Skills and Experience

• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience; dialysis experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $29 - $49, based on location and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave.
