Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition from an accredited university.
• Completed an accredited dietetic internship program or Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Dietetics.
• WA State Registration and Certification for Dietitian, and CDR RD Credential.
• Experience in a community nutrition setting, and interest in nutrition services and education.
• Pre-hire and annual employee health screening; annual influenza vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and nutrition counseling.
• Work with pediatric and adult patients referred by primary care providers.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and counseling in medical records.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate with health professionals, and conduct group sessions.
• Educate patients with nutrition education materials and follow program guidelines.
