Job summary

Qualifications

• Diagnostic imaging knowledge including surgery and trauma.
• 1 year post-certification experience with student radiographers.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• LRT Kansas certification (applicable entities).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring safety for all individuals and practicing ALARA radiation safety.
• Produces quality images accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Prepares patients, provides procedure information, responds to needs, and assists with patient positioning.
• Observes patient and equipment during procedures, reporting unusual occurrences and documenting conditions.
• Facilitates smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment and resources.
• Correctly inputs charges, required data, and completes necessary hospital/medical imaging paperwork for each exam.
