Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System in Beaver, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant/Radiologic Technologist to join the outpatient care team. You will perform radiologic procedures, collect specimens, take vitals, and assist in lab functions in a day shift setting.

Responsibilities include supporting clinicians, communicating patient needs, and ensuring quality care in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. ARRT registration or eligibility is required with timely completion.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or registry eligible; if eligible, registration must occur within 6 months of hire.
• Successful completion of required clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures and point-of-care testing.
• Specimen collection, vitals, and basic laboratory functions.
• Assist as part of outpatient health care team and communicate patient needs to the provider.
