Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Medical Radiologic Technologist to join our busy Radiology Department in Syracuse, NY. This full-time outpatient role involves general radiography, DEXA, and assisting with C-arm imaging in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Medical Radiography is required.
• Current ARRT certification and registration.
• Active licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and interpret physician orders under supervision.
• Position patients for radiologic procedures and use immobilization as needed.
• Operate radiology equipment and adjust exposure settings for high-quality images.
• Perform imaging in General Radiography, DEXA, and assist with C-arm imaging in the OR.
• Review images for technical quality before submission.
• Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintain sterile technique around C-arm in OR.
• Adhere to internal policies, state regulations and accreditation standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of PACS, RIS, and EMS systems.
• Coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Assist with restocking and keeping areas ready for efficiency.
