Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Full-Time Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department to deliver precise ionizing radiation treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions. You will participate in safety, QC, and patient education.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatment setups, EMR documentation, and serving as a clinical instructor for students. ARRT Radiation Therapy certification and BLS required on hire; 2+ years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification and BLS required upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
• Ability to treat and simulate patients accurately with strong technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Quality Control monitoring and ensure safety procedures for self and patients.
• Perform patient assessments, prepare and simulate treatment setups, and document accurately in EMR.
• Provide specialty care, educate patients and families on side effects, and report adverse reactions promptly.
• Operate radiation equipment safely, adhering to radiation safety measures and universal precautions.
• Schedule treatments, manage patient mobility and fall precautions, and assist with on-call duties.
• Serve as a clinical instructor for students, providing evaluations and feedback.
