Administer prescribed ionizing radiation treatments to outpatient oncology patients under physician direction, ensuring accurate delivery, patient safety, and thorough documentation throughout the radiation therapy process. Requirements include ARRT (RT) – Radiation Therapy certification and RTT/TRT certifications,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Radiation Therapy experience required.
• Experience in outpatient or hospital-based radiation oncology preferred.
• Ability to deliver accurate, safe radiation treatment per physician prescription.
• Strong patient care and communication skills in oncology setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily prescribed radiation dose to patients
• Verify prescriptions, imaging charts, and patient identity
• Position patients using immobilization devices and treatment plans
• Monitor patients for reactions and complications
• Maintain accurate treatment records and chart documentation
• Support patient education and treatment explanations
• Ensure radiation safety compliance for patients and staff
