Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking an MD with board certification in Radiation Oncology to provide outpatient services in Iowa. Work Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, in a on-site setting with no formal call requirements.

You will treat 8–10 patients daily, with 3–15 treatments, using Varian TrueBeam and a range of external beam therapies and radiopharmaceuticals. Experience in outpatient oncology, prescriptive authority, and hospital privileges are required; located in Iowa with sporadic

Qualifications

• This MD must be board certified in Radiation Oncology.
• This assignment requires prescriptive authority.
• Outpatient radiation oncology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient radiation oncology services Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Manage 8–10 on-treatment patients per day with 3–15 treatments daily.
• Utilize external beam methods and radiopharmaceuticals as part of treatment plans.
