MUSC Health is seeking a Sleep Medicine–certified Pulmonary physician to join our growing team serving Bluffton and Beaufort, South Carolina. This 100% outpatient position offers collaboration within an academically affiliated health system and spans two locations: Beaufort, SC and Bluffton, SC, with a new MOB opening in 2026.

The role emphasizes high-quality pulmonary and sleep care, with a focus on outpatient development and RVU-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Sleep Medicine Certification is required.
• Interest in outpatient practice development, with future inpatient consultant opportunities.

Responsibilities

• 100% outpatient pulmonary clinic with potential to expand into inpatient consultant services.
• Manage chronic respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD, emphysema, tuberculosis, and lung cancer.
• Access to advanced diagnostic services: Pulmonary function testing, lab services, X-ray, and mobile CT.
• Bronchoscopy and advanced airway procedures.
• On-site comprehensive Pulmonary Function Lab.
• Sleep Medicine Center located within the medical office building.
• Evaluation and treatment of sleep apnea and other sleep-related disorders.
• No call responsibilities.
• Monday–Friday, typical clinical hours.
• Productivity-based RVU compensation model.

Required Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Pulmonary Disease
