Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in Oklahoma City to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering direct patient care and individualized care plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

You will provide goal-directed treatment, educate patients and families, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. Weekend or flex schedules may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and/or Vocational Training and Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current licensed PTA or licensure eligible in the State of Oklahoma.
• AHA BLS-HCP within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides goal directed, activity oriented treatment to promote independence in mobility and functional performance.
• Educates patient and family to ensure continuation of progress.
• Uses adaptive methods/equipment to enhance performance.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, staff, patients and families.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to legal/ethical standards.
• Keeps accurate records and writes meaningful reports.
• Executes therapeutic procedures and operates equipment safely.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks to meet patient, regulatory and customer needs.
