Job summary

Seattle Hill Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated part-time Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for our orthopedic outpatient team. The role involves following treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercises, and educating patients to support recovery and pain management.

Qualifications include an associate degree in PTA and licensure eligibility. Outpatient experience is preferred but not required; strong teamwork and patient-focused care are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement therapies including manual techniques, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and education.
• Documentation: Use Raintree to monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the therapist.
• Patient Education: Instruct patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
