Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team in Ithaca, NY. You will provide skilled PT treatment under supervision, help implement individualized plans, and support patient goals in a collaborative setting.

Required is an Associate's degree, NYS PTA license or eligibility, CPR, and ongoing safety training. Prior outpatient experience is preferred; new graduates may be considered.

Formación

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current New York State PTA license or eligibility.
• Current CPR certification.
• yearly mandatory safety in-services and HealthStream e-Learning trainings.
• Outpatient experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Provides skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assists with implementing individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Instructs and assists patients with therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living.
• Assists with safe use of assistive devices.
• Provides modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitors and documents patient responses and progress.
• Communicates with the Physical Therapist regarding progress and modifications.
• Participates in discharge planning and home exercise instructions.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on exercises and safety.
