Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Must hold or be eligible to receive a PTA license within the first 90 days.
• Must be CPR certified or obtain certification within the first 90 days.
• Must maintain certifications/licensure per expiration dates.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and document treatment per evaluator and plan of care.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapist to update treatment plans as needed.
• Instruct patients and families in home exercise programs for discharge.
• Complete documentation and billing in a timely manner.
• Adhere to hospital and rehabilitation department policies and standards.
