Job summary

Next Move Healthcare seeks an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an outpatient clinic in Hico, TX. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and support patient recovery in a daytime, Mon-Fri schedule.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of PTA experience, an active Texas PTA license, and a current BLS certification. Compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance up to $3,000.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA educational program.
• Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience.
• Active Texas PTA license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Vaccination requirements: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza.
• Dress code: Solid-color scrubs; facial piercings and tongue rings not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized PTA treatment plans under supervision.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, strengthening, mobility, balance, and functional rehab.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising PT.
• Provide hands-on interventions and patient education to support recovery.
• Utilize WebPT for documentation and progress reporting.
• Coordinate care with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
