Job summary

Sentara Therapy Center Belle Harbour in Suffolk, VA seeks a full-time Physical Therapist for outpatient services. You will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain, and you will educate clients and caregivers.

You will supervise assigned team members and ensure high-quality care across the care team. Experience in outpatient rehab preferred; VA license to practice is required; BLS certification is also required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• VA license to practice physical therapy required; BLS certification preferred.
• Outpatient rehab experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
