Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, design and implement treatment plans, and supervise PT assistants in a fast‑paced hospital setting.

You will collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes, maintain clinical competencies, and contribute to quality initiatives while delivering compassionate care. A Florida PT license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Licensure as Physical Therapist (PT) or PT-TEMP required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and evaluates patients and plans care per practice standards.
• Oversees PT assistants and rehabilitation aides according to regulations.
• Delineates treatment plans using appropriate modalities and insurance guidelines.
• Maintains productivity and adjusts hours to meet patient needs.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and practices to build referrals.
• Supports community education and professional development.
