Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois to provide direct patient care, participate in teaching, and contribute to department process improvement. You will collaborate with PTs and PTAs, manage patient plans, and document care in the EMR while adhering to NM values and professional standards.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, IL license, and BLS on hire; preferred: Master’s/Doctoral degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Illinois.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates NM values of teamwork, patients first, integrity, and excellence in daily work and interactions.
• Presents a friendly, approachable, professional demeanor and appearance.
• Provides accurate information and timely updates to patients and customers; addresses questions promptly and directs to appropriate resources.
• Uses effective service recovery skills to resolve problems or service breakdowns.
• Maintains primary responsibility over patient plan of care through timely collaboration with treating PT/PTA(s).
• Demonstrates teamwork by helping coworkers within and across departments and communicating effectively.

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy

Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Illinois

BLS from American Heart Association upon hire

Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
