Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Psychotherapist for outpatient services as an Independent Contractor. You will provide psychotherapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients across age groups.

The position offers flexible hours with in-person and telehealth options, and a focus on work/life balance while delivering compassionate care to children aged five and up, adolescents, and adults.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy.
• Active Florida license.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
