Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Melbourne, FL is seeking an experienced psychotherapist (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT) to join as an independent contractor in our outpatient clinic. The role offers flexible hours, with in-person and telehealth options, and serves children aged five and up, adolescents, and adults.

The successful candidate will conduct psychological assessments, provide therapy across modalities, collaborate with psychiatrists and other clinicians, and document services per policy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy.
• Active Florida license required.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
