Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for an Outpatient Psychiatry Physician

Samaritan Health Services a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team in Albany OR.

Job Specifics

• Financial incentives include starting bonus, relocation and loan assistance funds
• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; hybrid approach requires 1 day on-site weekly, with the option to work telehealth/remotely on additional days
• 2 nights/month of back-up call to residents (call is shared between outpatient and inpatient physicians, and residents take first call).
• Full-time is 34 patient contact hours/week; average volume is 12 patients/day
• Visit types include initial evaluations, medication consultation/management, and limited therapy

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (new grads encouraged to apply!)
• Current Oregon Licensure or license eligible
• BCLS certified
• Knowledge in working with patients who have chronic health conditions
• Eligibility to work in the United States
