Job summary

Columbus Psychiatry Clinic in Columbus, NE seeks an ongoing outpatient psychiatrist for a 6‑month assignment with potential extension. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week (32 patient hours with 8 hours of admin).

Caseload includes anxiety, depression, trauma and personality disorders, with patients aged 2 and up (about 12–14 per day). New evaluations run 60–90 minutes; follow-ups 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist with active NE license and DEA.
• Experience with adult and pediatric patients (ages 2+).
• Ability to manage a ~12–14 patient/day caseload and time for admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatry evaluation and ongoing treatment.
• Coordinate with a small multidisciplinary team.
• Document in InSync EMR and participate in administrative duties.

Outpatient clinic attached to the Hospital

Columbus, NE

Outpatient Psych:

• Seeking ongoing cover starting ASAP (6 months w/ option to extend)

• Monday - Friday

• Hours: 8a-5p

• 32 Hours of seeing patients, 8 hours of admin time - 40 hours total

• Patient Load: 12-14 per day

• Ages 2 and up

• Mostly adults, but MUST see 2 years and up

• 65% of patients are ages 18 and up

• 35% of patients are ages 5-17

• New Evals are 60-90 min

• Follow ups are 30 min

• Cases: anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, etc.

• Support staff: 1 Psych, 1 Psychologist, 2 therapists, 1 APP, 1 RM, 2 LPNs and office staff

• Must be Board certified

• Must have NE State License and DEA
