UPMC Magee-Womens has an exciting opportunity for an Adult Psychiatrist with a women's health interest to expand clinical services in central Pennsylvania and play an integral role in providing high-quality, compassionate care in both the Camp Hill and Lancaster areas.

About the Position:

Led by Dr. David Silver, a gynecologic psychiatrist trained in psychiatry with extensive experience in gynecologic oncology, our practice is one of the few in the country focusing on treating women's emotional, behavioral, and cognitive concerns related to their reproductive lifecycles and health.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing direct clinical services using various mental health treatment modalities including individual, family, and group therapy
  2. Assessing and developing appropriate treatment plans
  3. Performing evaluations and communicating with WBHS psychiatrists, Ob-Gyns, PCPs, and other healthcare providers throughout the evaluation, treatment, and discharge process
  4. Intervening in crisis situations promptly and effectively
Professional Skills:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry
  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
  • Ability to work as part of a team while providing personalized care
  • Eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania
