Deep Centered Mental Health is expanding its outpatient psychiatry practice in Austin and seeks a psychiatrist who values an integrative approach to care. You will lead and grow a collaborative clinic in a supportive environment, with longer appointment times and low administrative burden.

The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment plans, psychotherapy integration, and access to Deep TMS and Spravato for appropriate patients.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree required.
• Board-certified in Psychiatry; board-eligible candidates considered.
• Licensed or ability to become licensed in Texas with an active DEA license.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Experience or interest in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS); certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor response.
• Incorporate psychotherapy, lifestyle approaches, and interventional treatments as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to support care and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with therapists and clinicians to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
