Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community MHMR Center in Round Rock, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to support outpatient psychiatric services. The role includes vital signs, rooming patients, and EMR documentation, with medication refills and authorizations to prevent lapses.

The RN educates patients on medications and health topics, performs injections and venipuncture, and may supervise CMAs. Flexible coverage across clinics is required; hours are 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an unencumbered Texas RN license.
Collaborative, multidisciplinary team player.
Computer literate: Windows/MS Office, TEAMS, MS Word.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving status.

Responsibilities

Obtain vital signs, weight, height, and room patients; document in EMR.
Staging medication refills and consents; obtain medication authorizations to prevent lapse.
Provide education on nutrition, medications, diagnosis, and health topics.
Administer injections, perform venipuncture, and urine drug screens.
Adhere to agency policies and supervise CMAs as needed.
