Job summary

Mindology is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide diagnostic and medication management services within our psychiatry team in Raleigh, NC. Collaboration with psychologists and therapists is essential, with administrative support for authorizations, scheduling, and routine communications.

The role emphasizes independent outpatient care, HIPAA compliance, and confidentiality, plus opportunities to train rotating students.

Qualifications

Successful completion of a formal physician assistant
Active PA license
DEA license
Possess current board certification (NCCPA)
Prior experience managing psychiatric patients, treatments, and medication
Capable of functioning independently to provide psychiatric care in an outpatient setting
Ability to work with diverse groups and maintain confidentiality
Has no pending actions by the board in any state
Must be currently credentialed with insurance, or be willing to become credentialed
Comfortable in the use our technology suite: Microsoft 360, EHR / EMR Systems, etc…
Knowledge of HIPAA policies and best practices.

Empathetic to client needs and concerns

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and provide care consistent with accepted professional standards, including evaluations, treatment, referral, and related documentation.
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management; attend case consultations and collaborate with other providers within the clinic.
Willing to assist in training experiences of rotating students (PAs, NPs or medical students)
