Job summary

Monarch Healthcare is seeking a PMHNP or Psychiatric Physician Assistant for our outpatient clinic in Raleigh, NC. Must be onsite at least 2 days a week, with a 8am-5pm Mon-Fri schedule.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medications for patients across the lifespan to improve quality of life under supervision and within clinical guidelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with other providers, reviewing prior treatments, and maintaining complete medical records using an EHR

Qualifications

• Must hold MS in Nursing with NP/PMHNP credentials.
• Board certification required: NP or PMHNP (ANCC) and active state license.
• Willing to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe medications and treatments under supervision or per policy.
• Communicate patient information to supervising physicians to guide diagnosis and treatment.
• Assess mental health conditions and make DSM-based diagnoses.
• Review past treatments to inform diagnosis and care plans.
• Order diagnostic tests when appropriate and review results.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the EHR system per policy.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatments, encourage therapy.
