Chicago Behavioral Hospital in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Program Therapist - IOP to address bio-psychosocial needs of patients. You will conduct social services, provide family therapy, crisis intervention, and aid in accessing therapeutic skills to support emotional health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field preferred.
• Illinois State license in social work or clinical related mental health field preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual/couples/family counseling with engagement and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with community agencies for patient assessment and services.
• Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions and patient responses.
• Assess psychosocial, educational, and behavioral functioning and document updates.
• Utilize age-specific considerations in treatment planning.
• Respond promptly to social work service requests.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings.
• Ensure specific, measurable goals and interventions are defined.
• Adhere to standards for care of diverse patient populations.
• Utilize interventions in psychiatric emergencies.
