Job summary

Optum CA is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our Colton, CA team. This outpatient role covers office consults, annual visits and follow-up appointments with a typical 40/20 minute visit schedule.

You will work with a Medical Assistant and a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment and may participate in Physician Partnership and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Required: Board Certified Physician or ability to attain before start.
• Unrestricted California Physician License or ability to attain prior to starting.
• Current BLS, ACLS certification.
• Current California DEA certificate or ability to attain prior to start.
• EMR Proficient.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care including office consults, annual visits, follow-up appointments and in-office procedures.
• Collaborate with the care team and support staff in a team-based model.
• Utilize DAX AI Scribe and other tools to enhance care delivery.
