Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide outpatient primary care at the Lemon Grove Family Health Center.

The role requires at least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience, California licensure, and current CPR/BLS/ACLS or equivalent credentials. Bilingual abilities and experience serving underserved populations are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in primary care in outpatient settings.
• Current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California.
• Current CPR/BLS/ACLS or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, caring medical services to a diverse patient population.
• Perform routine exams, screenings, and common procedures.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and point-of-care tests.
• Evaluate complex patients and refer to specialists as needed.
• Maintain complete documentation and compliance with EMR requirements.
• Attend mandatory meetings and participate in clinical outcomes programs.
• Collaborate with team and participate in on-call schedule.
