Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center, part of Central Maine Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient primary care team in Maine. You will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care within a collaborative health system focused on improving community health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certified (FNP or ANP).
• Active or eligible for Maine NP licensure.
• DEA certification (or eligible).
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care across the lifespan
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Perform preventive care and health screenings
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients on wellness and disease management
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
