Job summary

Allina Health in Faribault, MN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for outpatient primary care. Join a supportive clinic team with 4 Family Medicine Physicians and 4 APPs, providing 36 patient contact hours weekly with minimal call and RN triage support.

The clinic operates Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, in a collaborative environment that prioritizes growth and physician well‑being. Excellian EMR is used across the system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Minimum 2 years experience post Nurse Practitioner training strongly preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse in MN; Certified Nurse Practitioner in specialty; ACLS/BLS Tier 2; DEA license; Driver's license as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care for patients as part of a physician/nurse team.
• Works in both inpatient and outpatient settings and can work independently or with a team.
• Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment.
• Assists in patient education for chronic illness management and preventive care.
• Coordinates with the primary care team and outside agencies as needed.
