Job summary

Theravolve Weatherford, TX is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician (Tech) to assist licensed therapists in executing treatment plans and preparing patients for sessions in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

You will set up equipment, guide patients through exercises under supervision, monitor safety, and help maintain a clean, efficient therapy environment. This is a part-time role offering learning growth in hands-on clinical care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in healthcare, physical therapy, fitness, or patient care.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable assisting patients with exercises, movement, and basic equipment.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, move, or assist with equipment and patients as required.
• CPR or Basic Life Support certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous support to patients throughout their visit.
• Prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment for physical therapy sessions.
• Assist licensed physical therapists with implementing established treatment plans.
• Guide patients through assigned exercises under the direction and supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Monitor patients during activities and promptly report concerns or changes to the therapist.
• Maintain patient flow and ensure therapy sessions operate efficiently and on schedule.
• Clean, disinfect, organize, and maintain treatment equipment and clinical areas.
• Perform administrative or clinic support duties as assigned.
