Looking for OP PTA with neuro population interested and willing to cross trained for Inpatients

JOB SUMMARY

The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for delivering quality care to help patients attain maximum functional level. Demonstrates critical thinking to assure the delivery of safe, quality care to neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric clients. The therapist should be knowledgeable in caring for orthopedic and neurological involved patients. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for supervising Physical Therapy Assistant students. Responsible for being knowledgeable of standard of practice for the practice of Physical Therapy in an outpatient, inpatient, swing bed and acute inpatient rehabilitation setting and regulations established by the payers.

Responsible for excelling in courteous and respectful customer service at all times to every customer. Assures the safety of all customers. Effectively communicates with all customers. Effectively communicates and collaborates with other health care team members and between intra/inter departments. Adheres to organizational policy and procedures; abides by regulatory/accrediting body requirements and professional practice standards. Assist with the daily operations and collecting statistics within the Center for Rehabilitation and Wellness. Responsible for completing in a timely manner all assigned tasks and duties utilizing multi-tasking skills. Responsible for assuring confidentiality of customer information and departmental information.

Requirements Include

• An Associate's degree in Allied Health Professions in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Ohio
• Ability to work variable days and hours as necessary
