Adventist HealthCare's Fort Washington Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for its Outpatient Rehabilitation department. The role includes evaluating patients, supervising therapy interventions, and coordinating discharge planning to optimize patient progress.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus (eligibility exclusions apply) and a 40-hour work week with day shifts. A PTA degree and BLS certification are required, with 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience (at least 1 year in setting preferred).
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform an initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment/diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care.
• Provide, or direct and supervise, therapy interventions and monitor progress.
• Plan for discharge and follow-up with appropriate referrals.
• Communicate and document all aspects of patient management with the care team.
