Job summary

Rehab Associates in Central Virginia is expanding its outpatient physical therapy team. We seek dedicated Clinicians/PTAs who value patient-centered care and collaborative work.

You will implement physical therapy programs, document diligently, and support patients in functional recovery using a range of modalities and braces as needed. Virginia licensure and CAPTE PTA training required; outpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a PTA or ability to obtain it in Virginia.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform documentation including daily notes and progress reports.
• Administer active/passive therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Assist with gait training, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate progress to PT/Director.
• Help fit and train patients in use of braces and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with PT staff to plan and modify treatment plans.
