Job summary

Smith Therapy Partners in Las Vegas seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join a dynamic team. You will conduct therapeutic exercises, assist in treatment planning, and implement interventions under supervision, documenting progress with Raintree and educating patients and families on care plans.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient follow up: conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the PT.
• Treatment planning: assist PTs in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic interventions: implement manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions using Raintree and report changes to the PT.
• Patient education: educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional atmosphere: work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
