Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy (PT) treatments for patients to restore function and relieve pain.
• Consults with physicians and other departments about PT factors impacting patient health.
• Documents findings, treatments and patient information for medical records and billing.
• Educates patients and families on care and use of therapies and exercises.
• Serves as an information resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Participates in professional development and maintains professional affiliations.
• Performs related work as required and supports department goals.
• Recommends solutions to patient care problems.
• Maintains patient confidentiality in all aspects of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
