This dynamic team treats a variety of diagnoses including incontinence, pelvic pain, organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, ante and post-partum issues, and gender-affirming procedures. The team meets regularly for educational rounds and brings valuable continuing education courses to our clinic to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.

Purpose & Scope:
The scope of practice for a physical therapist is influenced by professional, jurisdictional, and personal factors. It evolves based on societal needs, professional development, laws, research, and technological advancements. It includes patient management, diagnosis, prognosis, and contributions to public health. The practice is grounded in sciences and supported by evidence-based education and practice frameworks. It involves activities for which the therapist is trained and competent.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in physical therapy is required. A Master's degree or doctorate is preferred.
Experience:
One year of experience is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required. BLS certification is also required.
Pay & Benefits: Compensation is commensurate with experience. Benefits are available starting the first day of the month following hire, with a 30-day window to apply.
