Job Summary and Responsibilities

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, Sr. Physical Therapists are responsible for providing specialty physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients as evidenced by a high degree of expertise in a given area or areas. They provide training and/or supervision to staff PTs, may supervise or be responsible for a particular program such as in‑service coordinator, outpatient cardiac rehab program, NICU follow‑up program and/or day‑to‑day operations of a specific area of the department, and may hold specialty certifications in fields such as NDT, orthopedics, wound care, etc.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience; evidence of extensive training in a given specialty area.
• Specialty areas may include but are not limited to: neuro rehabilitation, orthopedics, pediatrics, cardiac rehabilitation, hand rehabilitation, pain management and work hardening.
• CT CPRBLS; LIC PT
• Current CA license in Physical Therapy.
