Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH, seeks a part‑time physical therapist to support outpatients and inpatients across all ages. You will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs, educate patients and families, and document progress in the EMR with coordinated care.

Requirements include a degree from an accredited PT program, NH license (or eligibility), CPR, outpatient experience preferred, and relevant certifications (Graston, Dry Needling).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current (or pending) New Hampshire Physical Therapy license.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience in outpatient PT preferred (1–2 years).
• Graston Technique Lymphedema Certification and Dry Needling.
• Strong time‑management, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using subjective data, objective measures, prognosis and goals to create treatment plans.
• Implement and modify patient‑specific treatment programs to support functional progress.
• Develop and deliver patient and family education, adjusting strategies to maximize engagement.
• Document all clinical findings, plans, and progress in the EMR promptly.
• Complete all required insurance and third‑party payer information.
• Provide clinical supervision to new staff and/or affiliating students as assigned.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure coordinated and effective treatment.
• Maintain clinical competency and utilize equipment appropriate to training and experience.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and support a safe patient experience.

About the Job

Provides physical therapy services to outpatients and/or inpatients of all ages—from adolescents to adults and geriatrics—with occasional developmentally based exceptions depending on clinical need.

• Maintain clinical competency and utilize equipment and techniques appropriate to training and experience.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and support a safe and positive patient experience.

Who You Are

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current (or pending) New Hampshire Physical Therapy license required.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience in outpatient PT preferred (1–2 years).
• Graston Technique Lymphedema Certification Dry Needling.
• Strong time‑management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to provide safe patient handling and demonstrate appropriate physical and clinical judgment.
