Job summary

• Licensed Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire or transfer (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the patient's function using formal and informal tests to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
• Develops goal-specific treatment regimes based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Submits and coordinates the plan of treatment with the physician; updates the plan as needed.
• Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and aides; educates patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintains documentation and ensures compliance with policies and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team and promotes PT within the service area.
